In the world of endurance sports, there are few people as legendary as Dean Karnazes. Dean's accomplishments precede him:
- Dean ran 350 miles (560 km) in 80 hours and 44 minutes without sleep in 2005
- Dean has Single-handedly completed "The Relay", a 199-mile (320 km) run from Calistoga to Santa Cruz, eleven times
- Dean ran a marathon to the South Pole in −13 °F (−25 °C) temperatures without snowshoes in 2002
- He ran a marathon in each of the 50 states in 50 consecutive days in 2006
And today, when you ask him how he optimizes his mind and body to train harder and recover faster, he says he has a new secret weapon: Thync.
"I use the Thync Energy Vibe to really get me fired up before a race or a workout. I’ve tried Red Bull [and] other stimulants like that, but this is something completely different.”
