Turn Up The Beet!

Let’s be honest. Beets aren't always the first thing we think or want to buy at the food store. But after learning how beneficial they are for your brian, that might change!

A single serving of beets can boost your energy and lower your blood pressure. Plus, eating them long-term can help you fight cancer, reduce arthritic pain, and even lose weight.

Why? Beets are high in natural nitrates, which are converted to nitric oxide in the body. Nitric oxide is known to expand the walls of blood vessels so you can enjoy more oxygen, more nutrients and more ENERGY!

Studies have shown nitric oxide to increase the efficiency of the mitochondria (AKA your personal powerhouses). 

If you don’t LOVE cooking them, try getting beet in your next juice or smoothie.
